Although in the quarter-finals fixtures already drawn on the CAF website, Senegal, current leaders of Group A of the CAF U-20 Nations Cup are to face any of the third placed teams from Groups C and B, www.sportsvillagesquare.com can say that nothing is yet cast on stone.

The table may have a dramatic change later on Saturday evening when the Group A matches are concluded simultaneously.

Senegal with six points are the obvious advantageous side, having also a four-goal credit. Nigeria are second with three points and no goal credit.

But the most titanic game of the day will see hosts, Egypt fighting, possibly, the biggest battle of the tournament. A loss throws the host out of the tournament as they may not even have the opportunity of a third place qualifier for the quarter finals.

With the mindset of winning, and if that is achieved, they will not only get a breather, but may crash the existing Group A table.

Egypt could therefore finish with four points and Nigeria will be in jeorpardy of having to qualify as third placed if Mozambique should beat the Flying Eagles.

The odds against Mozambique will be the heavy goal deficit of three. But should Nigeria beat Mozambique by up to three goals and Egypt winning the corresponding match with Senegal by two goals, Nigeria will go atop of Senegal on goal difference.

Egypt will be assured of a third place qualification to face Group C winners on Friday.
