Totty Okoro Totty,  a former Super Eagles’ player has died in the US. Yemi Ojo, a Nigerian journalist in the US broke the news Friday evening.

Totty Okoro who also played for Nigerian clubs such as Enugu Rangers, BBC Lions of Gboko and the defunct Sharks of Port Harcourt had his solitary international cap when he got in as a substitute for Austin Eguavon an Italia ‘90 World Cup qualifying match against Gabon in Libreville on 25 June 1989.

He reportedly passed away on Thursday afternoon at at Atlanta-Georgia USA after a long battle with colon cancer. The funeral arrangements are being made.
