It’s ‘A luta continua’ for Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress as they face Canada this Sunday at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium, in Lille.
It is expected to be a close fight as the Nigerian side will not only want to make up for their last week loss to France, but also to avenge their 2018 loss to Canada at the FIBA Women’s World Cup.
At the time, Canada had a narrow win of 73-72. The Canadian team last week lost to Australia that the Nigerian team had earlier defeated making this Sunday duel a potentially unpredictable one.
