Nigeria’s former sports minister, Selcap Solomon Dalung is again bereaved.
While making final preparations for his mother’s burial on Saturday, December 23, he received another devastating news of the passage of his father, Nimgbak William Fabong Dalung.
Pa Dalung died aged105 years. According to the former sports minister: “When he received the news of my mother’s exit, he called and commiserated with me.
“My father appreciated my modest efforts in taking care of them. He finally left me with these words, “Take heart because I am also on my way.” Was these the parting gift, my beloved Nimgbak?
Until his exit, Nimgbak Dalung was a retired Director of Health with Taraba State Local Government Service Commission.
“Good night, till we meet again at the great assembly, but for now, we are welcome to the community of orphans”, remarked the former sports minister.
