Ghana’s national team is scheduled to face the reigning World Cup champions Argentina in an international friendly match this March, according to a report on Ghanasoccernet.

The report states that this friendly encounter will take place during the first quarter of the season and will be one of two friendlies for Argentina, with the other being against China.

Currently, the Black Stars are competing in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Unfortunately, they find themselves at the bottom of Group B, having secured only one point so far.

Their previous matches resulted in a 2-1 defeat to Cape Verde, who have already qualified for the round of 16, and a 2-2 draw against Egypt.

Ghana’s fate in the continental tournament will be determined on Monday when they face Mozambique in the final round of AFCON 2023 group-stage games.

Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which took place in Qatar, after beating France 4-2 on penalty kicks in the final.
