Morocco World Cup heroes are set to thrill the continental gathering as the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off in few days time. Morocco, with good structure and not having to go abroad for training facilities has named 14 of the heroes at the last World Cup in its 27-man squad.

Morocco came fourth to make Africa and the Arab World proud. Cote d’Ivoire 2023 will be the 21st time Morocco will be featuring in the continental premier football competition. Reigning CAF Coach of the Year, Walid Regragui has now named his 27-man squad.

He opted for a blend of youth and experience in his 27-man squad.  The Moroccans are in Group F with Tanzania, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo

Among the Qatar 2022 stars are Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, Achraf Hakimi, Ghanem Saiss, Nayef Aguerd, Noussair Mazraoui, Yahya Attiat Allah, Bilal El Khannouss, Azzeddine Ounahi, Sofyan Amrabat, Selim Amallah, Hakim Ziyech, Sofiane Boufal, Youssef En-Nesyri and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.

GOALKEEPERS: Yassine Bounou, Mounir El Kajoui, El Mehdi Benabid

DEFENDERS: Achraf Hakimi, Mohamed Chibi, Abdelkabir Abqar, Ghanem Saiss, Nayef Aguerd, Yunis Abdelhamid, Chadi Riad, Noussair Mazraoui and Yahya Attiat Allah

MIDFIELDERS: Bilal El Khannouss, Azzeddine Ounahi, Oussama El Azzouzi, Sofyan Amrabat, Selim Amallah, Amir Richardson, Hakim Ziyech, Amine Harit and Sofiane Boufal

FORWARDS: Ismael Saibari, Amine Adli, Ayoub El Kaabi, Youssef En-Nesyri, Tarik Tissoudali and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.
