Morocco on Saturday forced hosts, Cote d’Ivoire to a 1-1 draw in a friendly match at the Stade Felix-Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

Cote d’Ivoire’s attacker Sebastien Haller broke the stalemate in the third  minute of the added time of the first half. As it appeared that the hosts were cruising to a lone goal victory, Morocco struck back through Ayoub El Kaabi, nine minutes to duration time.

Both teams, top seeds at the Africa Cup of Nations finals holding in January, used the match tp fine tune strategies. The friendly match had long been schedules as it was originally to hold last September 9 but had to be shifted owing to the deadly earthquake in Morocco on the eve of the match.
