Umar Sadiq who was last week dropped from the Super Eagles squad to the on-going Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire has been listed on the substitute bench of his La Liga side, Real Sociedad in the Round of 16 match of the Copa del Rey this Wednesday evening.
Real Sociedad are pitched against Osasuna. The medical team of the Super Eagles last week dropped Umar on account of injury sustained in their practice match with Guinea last week Monday.
The medical team ruled him out for three weeks. But almost immediately he returned to his club, he was involved in light training session.
He is listed in today’s match against Osasuna.
